YouTube hosted its first-ever ‘Small Business Day’ last week, announcing a slew of new features designed to help small businesses grow and succeed on the platform. The event, which took place on June 24, featured a number of speakers including YouTube’s head of business partnerships, Shane Blackman, and entrepreneur and YouTube star Danielle Roberti.
YouTube is making its first-ever foray into the small business world. The Google video platform is hosting its “Small Biz Day,” a daylong event that aims to bring together small-business owners from around the world.
Small business owners are a vital part of the U.S. economy and the success of small teams is essential to their growth. As a result of this, YouTube is holding Small Biz Day on June 24th, which is a day for honoring small business owners on the platform.
The 24th. In June, YouTube will host its first-ever Small Business Day, an event aimed at helping small businesses use video to attract their audience.The event is part of Google’s International Small Business Week, an initiative to help business owners increase their presence on YouTube.
According to the survey, 72 percent of small businesses in the U.S. say YouTube is helping them increase their online presence by using it as a means of showcasing their products and services.

The event begins with a live broadcast where viewers can shop at various businesses across the United States and Canada.
